Tietosuojaseloste
ClearLoupe ei tallenna eikä lähetä kameran kuvaa minnekään. Yksityisyys ei ole lisäominaisuus — se on koko sovelluksen lähtökohta.
Mitä kerätään
- Ei mitään kameran kuvasta. Kuva näkyy suurennettuna ruudulla vain reaaliajassa. Pysäytetty kuva pysyy laitteen muistissa vain istunnon ajan, eikä sitä koskaan kirjoiteta levylle tai lähetetä verkkoon.
- Tekstintunnistus ja kielentunnistus (Plus) tapahtuvat kokonaan laitteella. Kuvia tai tunnistettua tekstiä ei lähetetä Googlelle, meille tai kenellekään muulle palvelimelle.
- Ei käyttäjätilejä, ei kirjautumista, ei mainoksia, ei seurantaa tai analytiikkaa.
Verkkoyhteydet
Sovelluksen ydintoiminnot eivät käytä internetiä lainkaan. Ainoa verkkoyhteys, jonka sovellus muodostaa, on Google Play Billingin oma kertaoston (Plus) käsittely — tämän liikenteen hoitaa Google, ei kehittäjä. Googlen omat käytännöt: policies.google.com/privacy.
Laitteelle tallennettu tieto
Laitteen paikalliseen muistiin (SharedPreferences) tallennetaan vain:
- valitut asetukset (korostusväri, pysäytysnapin paikka, lukunopeus, kielentunnistus)
- tieto siitä, onko Plus ostettu
Tätä tietoa ei koskaan lähetetä pois laitteelta kehittäjän toimesta. Android voi sisällyttää sen käyttäjän omaan Google-tilin varmuuskopioon osana laitteen normaalia varmuuskopiointia — tämä on käyttöjärjestelmän, ei sovelluksen, toiminto.
Käyttöoikeudet
- Kamera — sovelluksen ydintoiminto (suurennus). Kuvaa ei tallenneta.
- Google Play Billing — Plus-kertaoston ostamiseen.
Lasten yksityisyys
Sovellus ei ole suunnattu erityisesti lapsille eikä kerää tietoisesti tietoa alle 13-vuotiaista.

Privacy Policy
ClearLoupe never saves or sends the camera image anywhere. Privacy isn’t a feature bolted on — it’s the whole premise of the app.
What is collected
- Nothing from the camera image. It’s shown magnified on screen in real time only. A frozen frame stays in the device’s memory only for the current session and is never written to disk or sent over the network.
- Text recognition and language detection (Plus) run entirely on-device. Images or recognized text are never sent to Google, to us, or to any server.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking or analytics.
Network connections
The app’s core features use no internet connection at all. The only network connection the app makes is for processing the Google Play Billing one-time purchase (Plus) — that traffic is handled by Google, not the developer. Google’s own policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Data stored on the device
Only the following is stored in local device storage (SharedPreferences):
- chosen settings (accent color, shutter button position, reading speed, language detection)
- whether Plus has been purchased
This data is never transmitted off the device by the developer. Android may include it in the user’s own Google account backup as part of normal device backup — an OS-level feature, not an app feature.
Permissions
- Camera — the app’s core function (magnification). Images are not saved.
- Google Play Billing — for purchasing the Plus one-time unlock.
Children’s privacy
The app is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
Changes will be announced by updating this page and its effective date.
